DESCRIPTION:We are raising funds for the Back-to-School Shopping Event and awareness for the need for families for kids in foster care.\n\nWays you can help: \n\nRun or walk!\nShow up and learn more about adoption and foster care.\nBring a friend and/or family member to join you!\n\nWe will have music\, games\, a playground\, yard games\, and a photographer to take your family picture!  There will also be a variety of resource tables to provide information about becoming a foster parent\, supports & other topics of interest to adoptive\, foster and kinship families. \nSo\, come walk your dog\, push your stroller\, or run through a 5K with us.  It’s a great way to be active with your family while supporting Minnesota kids in foster care. \nRACE DAY INFO:\nCheck-in and packet pick-up begins at 9:00 am \n10:00 – Kids 1/4 mile run\n10:15 – Kids 1 mile run\n10:30 – 5k Start\n\nWant your stuff earlier?\nPacket Pickup:\nSaturday\, May 17\, 2025\n9 am – 12 pm\nFleet Feet\n2312 W. 50th St.\nMinneapolis\, MN 55410 \nCost: $40\nKids in your family are free with one paid adult.\nRegister before April 25th to guarantee a t-shirt. \nT-shirts?\nWe will have extra shirts the day of the event. DESCRIPTION:Join Us for Community & Connection\nConnect2Connect provides opportunities for foster and adoptive families to connect with one another and build relationships in an in-person\, interactive\, and fun way. Connect2Connect is made possible by the Minnesota Department of Children\, Youth\, and Families Permanency Support Service grant. \nPizza Ranch/Riddlers Escape – Saint Cloud\, MN\nSunday\, May 18th\, 2025\, from 11:30 am – 2:00 pm.\nJoin us for a fun day of pizza and puzzle rooms! We will start at Pizza Ranch at 11:30 am for lunch followed by puzzle rooms at Riddlers Escape. A gluten free pizza is available upon request. If you would prefer to join for the activity and skip lunch\, we plan to meet at Riddlers Escape at 12:45 pm to sign waivers.
