We are thrilled to offer scholarships for Minnesota parents and professionals to attend Families Rising’s 50^th annual adoption and foster care conference! This year’s conference will be held online July 17 and July 18, 2024.

Thanks to the Minnesota Department of Human Services, a limited number of scholarships are available for:

• Minnesota adoptive, foster, and kinship parents
• Minnesota child welfare professionals
• Minnesota professionals who work with adoptive, foster, and kinship families

The scholarship reduces the registration fee to $25 and is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

• Dates: July 17 & 18, 2024 (if you cannot attend live, you will have 90 days to view the recorded sessions)

The conference sessions are designed to inspire, inform, and encourage all members of the adoption and foster care community! We are offering more than 20 virtual workshops led by expert speakers on topics such as:

• The impact of trauma and loss
• Core issues in adoption
• Effective therapeutic techniques in adoption
• Kinship care and birth family connections
• Parenting children with disabilities and challenges
• Older children and youth
• Race, culture, and diversity in adoption and foster care
• Supporting children and families in adoption and foster care
