As caregivers, do you find yourself putting a ton of energy into responding and reacting to behaviors? Wouldn’t it be great if we could use the same (or less!) energy to prevent meltdowns? What if there were a few minor adjustments that could dramatically decrease big reactions? We will dig into this and more together in this webinar. The learning experience will be customized for adoptive/foster parents with content from various sources commonly used in school-settings including restorative practices, positive behavior supports, trauma-aware care, and developmentally-appropriate expectations.

Dr. Jennie Bordonaro has spent 17 years in the field of education. She has served many roles including classroom teacher, behavior interventionist, graduate school instructor, building principal, and statewide continuous improvement specialist. Her passion is around educational equity and ensuring that all students have access to a high-quality education.
