The holidays often present unique challenges for foster and adoptive families. With the addition of new children to the family, family members’ expectations for the holidays may change. This presentation will examine potential challenges that the family may face related to the holidays, ways to create stability and predictability for children already in the home, and considerations for creating an environment that encourages togetherness.
