[FosterEd] Navigating the Mental Health Crisis: Asian Adolescents and Anti-Asian Hate Crimes During the Pandemic

September 26 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm

Join us for an insightful webinar exploring the impact of rising anti-Asian hate crimes during the COVID-19 pandemic on the mental health of Asian adolescents. We will begin by defining anti-Asian crimes and racial discrimination, providing a foundational understanding of these critical issues. The discussion will then delve into the unique psychological impacts of racial discrimination on adolescents’ mental health, with a focus on the specific challenges faced by Asian American youth. We will highlight protective factors and strategies to enhance support systems for these adolescents. Additionally, the webinar will feature a compelling case study to illustrate these concepts in a real-world context.
