Helping Families Navigate Hard Conversations: Drugs and Alcohol

December 14 @ 11:00 am - 12:30 pm

Conversations about drugs and alcohol can be challenging for any family, especially those navigating the unique experiences of foster care and adoption. This engaging and practical training will help foster and adoptive parents approach these conversations with confidence, compassion, and understanding. Participants will explore strategies for discussing substance use, addressing misinformation, responding to difficult questions, and creating a supportive environment where children and teens feel comfortable having honest conversations about drugs and alcohol.
