UMOJA MN – Cultural Responsive Parenting

Cultural Responsive Parenting is a class centered around the understanding of racial and cultural differences for Black children in the foster and adoptive care systems.

This class is for caregivers of Black children who are working towards gaining knowledge about the nuances of Black culture, racism and more.

Some topics that may be explored are the Cradle-to-Prison Pipeline, Hypersexuality, Driving while Black, etc.

The group will meet for six Thursday’s from 6:30-8:30 PM; October 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th, 31st and November 7th
