WILL You Plan for a Peaceful Future? Wills & Estate Planning for Foster & Adoptive Families

February 28 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm

Free

As an experienced estate planning attorney and foster/adoptive father, Chris knows the pressures that working families face. And the added challenges of working with the foster system, government systems, and the chaotic day-to-day of being a parent. Planning for the future feels impossible when you can barely plan for dinner tonight. Chris shares, “I can help, at least with the future plans (dinner’s still up to you). I’ll walk you through the basic steps of getting your estate in order, planning your will, & the particular challenges that face foster and adoptive kids.”

You’ve been meaning to do it. Now is your chance. Bring your questions to this session and Chris will help get you most of the way there. There will be plenty of time for Q&A at the end of the presentation.

As an estate planning attorney, Chris helps clients navigate difficult times and plan their futures with peace of mind. When not working diligently for his clients, Chris advocates for racial justice and community equity and strives to teach himself and others to seek justice, love mercy, and walk humbly toward a better future.

Chris spends his free time making music, biking with his family, and exploring new adventures. His wife, Avivah, and their three children—Lilly, Luthan, and Maverick—serve as the cornerstone of a life built on family, fun, and faith.
