Join Us for Community & Connection

Connect2Connect provides opportunities for foster and adoptive families to connect with one another and build relationships in an in-person, interactive, and fun way. Connect2Connect is made possible by the Minnesota Department of Children, Youth, and Families Permanency Support Service grant.

Saturday, September 19th, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. (CT)

Hemker Park & Zoo – Freeport, MN

Come spend a fun-filled day with us at the zoo! We’ll gather for a group picnic before enjoying special animal encounters featuring favorites like a kangaroo and giraffe. Then, sit back and take in the sights on a tram tour of the entire zoo. Scheduled activities end at 2:00 p.m., but you’re welcome to continue exploring and enjoying the zoo on your own afterward.

Please note: You will receive an email with waivers for the event within a week after registering. If you do not complete the waivers by the deadline, you will forfeit your spot to attend.
