UMOJA MN Caregiver Connect

A safe space for Minnesota parents and caregivers of Black fostered or adopted youth to connect, share experiences, and discuss topics related to Black culture, identity, anti-racism, and raising Black children.

Upcoming Session: Building Community WITH Black Youth

We invite you to participate in a thoughtful and interactive training aimed at supporting black youth in transracial homes. This program is tailored for foster, adoptive, and kinship caregivers who wish to deepen their understanding of the significance of racial identity and cultural connection, while also accessing resources to help Black youth cultivate a reflective community.

  • Practical strategies for fostering meaningful community connections
