Culturally Responsive Parenting Group

Everything you always wanted to explore about transracial parenting but were too afraid to ask!

Ever felt like you had questions about transracial parenting but weren’t sure where to ask them? This group is an opportunity to do just that in a sensitive and stimulating way. Let’s explore the many layers of parenting children across racial and cultural lines. We will cover topics related to identity, ways of increasing biculturalism/multiculturalism, racism, your role as a parent as well as your own thoughts, questions and concerns you bring to the group.

Whether you’re seeking information, support, or guidance – you’re in the right place!

The in-person sessions will be facilitated by Elliott Manago-Lawler, LICSW, PMH-C every Tuesday in June from 6-7 PM at the Minnesota Valley Unitarian Universalist Fellowship in Bloomington, MN.

The group will meet for four sessions every Tuesday in June from 6-7:30 PM
